COSTUME PROFESSIONAL FOR FILM AND TELEVISION

I am a passionate costume professional building my experience in film, television, theatre and music videos. I’ve had the opportunity to work on notable productions for renowned platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV+, CBC and more. Throughout my career, I have held diverse roles within the costume department, including wardrobe truck supervisor, sewer, buyer, and background coordinator. I am actively involved in NABET 700-M UNIFOR as a costume member and in IATSE 873 as a costume permit.

I graduated from Dalhousie University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Costume Studies and Cinema and Media Studies, earning a place on the Dean's List for academic excellence. My degree equipped me with a strong foundation in historical fashion and garment construction, including sewing, tailoring, pattern drafting, draping and period-specific techniques. My studies in Cinema and Media Studies sharpened my analytical eye and critical thinking, providing me with a deeper understanding of the storytelling power of moving images.

From a young age, I knew I wanted a career in film. By high school, I had designed the costumes for a production of Fiddler on the Roof, as well as two other original works for my school and a local elementary school. This hands-on experience solidified my passion for costume design and set me on a path to pursue this career.
